Peter greenway é um homem com um visão renascentista, é arquitecto, escultor, pintor e cineasta.
Os espaços que ele cria, como "The Cook the Thief His Wife & Her Lover" em que a que espaço tem uma cor e faz com os nossos sentidos ficam associados as cores, como a cozinha era verde, quase doentio, de putrefacção, a sala era , a casa de banho era branco.
